In Corrientes, a head-on collision between a car and a truck resulted in the tragic death of three people. The incident occurred at kilometer 519 of Route 12, where a Chevrolet Prisma car collided directly with a truck. It is believed that the car lost control due to water on the road, crossing over to the opposite lane and crashing head-on with the truck that was heading to the city of Goya, in Corrientes. Authorities have yet to provide official information about the accident, but it is presumed that the mission vehicle swerved after hitting a water pool on the roadway.

Preliminary investigations indicate that aquaplaning may have triggered the tragic accident. The victims of the accident, whose identities have not yet been confirmed, died on the spot, according to local media reports.
