Emily Ceco, a participant of 'Love is Blind Argentina', surprised everyone by revealing that she was a victim of gender violence by her husband Santiago Martínez, whom she met on the couple's reality show.
According to Emily's account, the violent situation occurred when she needed to go to the bathroom and begged Santiago to let her do so. Despite this, he mocked her and refused to let her leave the room, even pushing her onto the bed and holding her tightly.
"She states that after these events, Santiago begged her forgiveness for what he had done and asked her to lie down together on the bed. After this situation, she stopped gathering her clothes and tried to leave the room, but he prevented her from leaving the room, pushing her onto the bed they share," Emily detailed.
The young woman continued narrating that Santiago physically assaulted her, hitting her on the head while she tried to gather her belongings. Additionally, Emily revealed that her husband denigrated and mocked her, creating a constant atmosphere of harassment.
Emily's testimony caused shock among her fellow show participants and on social media, who rallied in her support. After recounting the situation she experienced, the 25-year-old filed a legal complaint on Tuesday, February 11, in the town of General Rodríguez, requesting a restraining order, the return of her belongings, and the cessation of harassment by Santiago Martínez.
