A five-year-old boy has died at the Don Torcuato Hospital due to serious injuries sustained in an accident. The driver of the vehicle involved in the tragedy is Marcela Capalbo, a neighbor in the gated community whose husband is Juan José Guimarey Loureiro, an independent professional and consultant. The father of the deceased boy, Manuel José Biedma, 43 years old, urgently took his son to the hospital, unfortunately without success.
The little boy lost his life after being accidentally hit by Capalbo, 57 years old, while playing in his backyard and running into the street, being struck by a Volkswagen Taos driven by the neighbor.
Forensic measures have been ordered and a team of psychologists is providing support to the Biedma family during this time of deep grief. The case has been registered as involuntary manslaughter and so far Capalbo has not been arrested. Investigations are underway to clarify the facts under the direction of prosecutor José Amallo from the decentralized prosecutor's office in Tigre.
