Bondiola and Tradition Festival in General Belgrano

The 'Bondiola and Tradition' Festival is already a classic in the region, and this year it returns with an enhanced program: regional gastronomy, live music, a craft fair, activities for children, and a creole parade that runs through much of General Belgrano, the town organizing the event. All of this takes place during a long weekend—from Friday, November 21, to Monday, November 24—making it an ideal getaway for those living in Buenos Aires or its surroundings. According to the Argentine News Agency, the event is free and open to the public, and will be held on Sunday, November 23, at the Mateo Bruzzo grounds, on the banks of the Salado River. The festival offers activities for all ages: food stalls with local recipes, a large dining area, a creole parade that reflects the local identity, and children's play areas designed for families to spend a full day. There will also be live music from noon until closing. Recommended activities: stroll through the dining area and try bondiola in all its versions; watch the creole parade and traditional presentations; shop at the artisans and entrepreneurs' walk; spend the afternoon at the Viejo and Nuevo beaches on the Salado River; relax at the Salado Hot Springs, one of the most popular local attractions; visit the Historical Museum Alfredo Múl-gura, located across from the train station. Those with more time can visit the Paraje Colonia El Salado, just 13 kilometers away, where the Enchanted Forest and the Estancias Museum are located, two popular spots for those seeking a more tranquil and natural experience.
