The State Workers Association Sectional Rosario and the Internal Board of the Military Factory of Fray Luis Beltrán denounce unjustified layoffs and a clear process of dismantling at Military Manufacturing. They hold Hugo Pascarelli responsible, son of a convicted genocidaire for crimes against humanity, who assumed the presidency of the state-owned company under the government of Javier Milei.
From ATE Rosario, they point out that the government is planning to close production plants, as has already occurred in Rio Tercero, Córdoba, and in Dow Puerto San Martín, Santa Fe. This situation leads to a catastrophic scenario for the industry in the central region of the country, affecting hundreds of families who would be left unemployed either directly or indirectly.
The lack of agreements and production plans demonstrates the current administration's intention to close and get rid of military factories, in a process that has reduced Military Manufacturing's productive units from 14 to only 4. In light of this situation, workers are calling for resistance and solidarity, demanding the reinstatement of those laid off, rejecting the emptying of the factories, and defending the production plants.
The recent layoffs, combined with voluntary retirements that in many cases have not complied with the agreed payment, demonstrate a dismantling process that has led to job losses and the closure of manufacturing establishments. In this context, the workers of the Military Factory of Fray Luis Beltrán and other affected units reiterate their rejection and determination in the fight against these measures that jeopardize their jobs and the future of the company.
