Investigation into the Murder of Paloma Gallardo

The lawyer for the family of Paloma Gallardo, the 16-year-old girl who was murdered along with her boyfriend Josué Salvatierra, 14, in the Buenos Aires party of Florencio Varela, has mentioned that the case is turning towards the parents of the minor due to their religious beliefs. In an interview with the Argentine News Agency, Aníbal Osorio expressed his concern over the alleged involvement of Alicia Pita and Omar Gallardo, the girl's parents, in the investigation, pointing out that attention is being diverted from the true focus of the case.

In this regard, Osorio reported that measurements have been taken at the crime scene this week, from the clearing where the bodies were found to the street, along with photographs being taken. However, he denied the conduct of searches, the reconstruction of the crime, and the collection of new evidence. So far, there has been no news regarding the perpetrators of the crime, according to the family's legal advisor.

A statement that adds complexity to the case was that of Paloma's brother, Santiago Gallardo, who admitted having been with the kids minutes before the murder occurred. Images from a security camera show the minors holding hands until the young man passes by and they let go, suggesting that they were hiding their relationship. This relates to the evidence that the girl's cell phone had GPS and was being monitored by her parents.

From the beginning, attention focused on a gray car that was also in the area moments before the tragic outcome, although for now it seems to be ruled out from the investigation. This new element could significantly change the course of the case, as the statement from Paloma's brother contradicts the claim that the parents were unaware of the relationship between the young people.
