At the police station, the concentration continues where activists and neighbors organize in response to the fires. As part of the investigation led by prosecutor Francisco Arrien, three people from Paraje Entre Ríos, between Bolsón and Lago Puelo, have been arrested.
By order of prosecutor Arrien, the arrests took place, generating discomfort and disbelief among those who know the detainees. A relative of one of the detainees highlighted their commitment and dedication in the fight against the fire, denying any involvement in the fires.
One of the detainees was actively collaborating in combating the fires and was staying at the home of another detainee, who, in turn, was known for their solidarity work and commitment to the community. The situation became even more tense when calls circulated to confront neighbors from groups on social networks.
The testimonies from relatives of the detainees reflect their discontent and concern over the lack of grounds for the arrests, as well as the campaign of hatred and misinformation that they claim is being generated by the provincial, national, and municipal governments, along with the hegemonic media.
Amid an atmosphere of uncertainty and injustice, the concentration at police station 12 in Bolsón continues to grow in support of the detainees. Neighbors, activists, and friends denounce a "witch hunt" that affects those who voluntarily fight against the fires, diverting attention from the true urgent task: combating the fire that is consuming the region.
