Senator Diego Pellegrini, from the Radical Civic Union (UCR), once again occupies a seat in the Chamber when he should actually be under investigation by the Justice system for his strange participation in the Loan Peña case. To recall his presence in the case of the boy's disappearance, one must go back to the first days of July 2024 when the case was already in the federal jurisdiction. According to what was learned by the Argentine News Agency, Pellegrini is allied with former Governor Gustavo Valdés, who from the beginning, as the highest authority in the province of Corrientes, attempted to silence the case. This setback in the case caused controversy, not only because they had moved Laudelina from one city to another in the middle of the night, but also because it caused the investigation to focus on the accident hypothesis, which is still discarded after the expert reports. After the chaos generated, the boy's aunt decided to break the pact and testify again, but this time she pointed out that she was pressured by Codazzi and Pellegrini, who handed her 50,000 pesos. The bills, which were kept in the woman's jacket and are now seized in the case, caused a scandal. Faced with such a scandal, the public 'cried out to the heavens' and demanded that the Justice system move forward against the lawyer and senator.
