Two men have been sentenced to 4 years in prison for entering a farm, killing three fallow deer, and butchering them, leaving their heads, guts, and legs behind before escaping on an enduro motorcycle in the Buenos Aires district of Coronel Pringles. The men are Carlos Gorordoy and Lucas Oviedo, who were found guilty as co-perpetrators of the crime of aggravated cattle theft, as the appropriation was done by force, under Article 164 of the Penal Code. The trial was held at the Criminal Court 1 in BahÃa Blanca, as the incident occurred in Coronel Pringles, which falls under the judicial jurisdiction of this southern Buenos Aires district. The event was investigated by prosecutor Marina Lara, who, with the help of a Rural Crimes team, determined that everything happened on October 24, 2023, when the two men entered a field located in Cuartel XII of Coronel Dorrego. There, according to the case file, they took three fallow deer, aged 3 to 4 years, that were in the aforementioned rural establishment, having arrived after cutting a perimeter fence. Once inside the field, they killed and butchered the animals, leaving their heads, legs, and guts behind before fleeing on an enduro-type motorcycle. As part of the case file, it was determined that one of the accused had made a post on the social network Facebook with photos boasting about what he had done, in which photos of the deer loaded onto a motorcycle could be seen. The other accused commented on the post, writing: 'Brother, thank God we got out with a heavy load.' Through various investigative tasks, personnel from the Coronel Pringles Rural Prevention Command collected the necessary evidence to track down the two men.
