In a match where equality prevailed and the outcome was not decided until the very end, Belgrano drew 1-1 with Tigre. The game was played at the Julio César Villagra stadium for the second round of Zone B of the 2026 Apertura Tournament.
According to the Argentine News Agency, the visiting team took the lead in the 16th minute of the second half with a goal from striker David Romero, while midfielder Lautaro Gutiérrez equalized in the 36th minute.
With the draw, both teams are left with four points, in third and fourth place in Zone B.
In the next round, "The Pirate" will visit Argentinos Juniors on Monday, February 2nd at 22:00, while the team led by Diego Dabove will play on the same day, receiving Racing, but starting at 19:45.
In a first half lacking in dangerous plays, the first chance came from the home team in the fifth minute with a high and deflected header from defender Lisandro López. In the 19th minute, Tigre had its first approach, with a combination on the left that ended with midfielder Jabes Saralegui's weak and low shot, which was easily contained by goalkeeper Thiago Cardozo.
In the 23rd minute, midfielder Lucas Zelarayán hit a low and crossed shot from the edge of the area that went wide. Tigre took the lead in the 16th minute of the second half when striker David Romero took advantage of the rebound off the post from midfielder Elías Cabrera's shot and finished with an open goal, with goalkeeper Thiago Cardozo still sprawling from the previous shot.

Anyway, the home team could have tied in the 37th minute, with a cross that striker Nicolás "Uvita" Fernández extended and was first-timed by Lautaro Gutiérrez to score 1-1.
