Buenos Aires, March 13 (NA) – Ramiro Bustillo Rubio and Oscar Omar Reyes, two men who were kidnapped during the last military dictatorship, have been identified among the remains of twelve disappeared persons found buried on a site known as La Perla. According to Noticias Argentinas agency, the association Hijos confirmed the identity of the remains, which were found by the Argentine Team of Forensic Anthropology as part of an investigation led by Court Number 3 of Córdoba, under Hugo Vaca Narvaja. Both were kidnapped on the same day in 1977 and found this Friday at the clandestine center La Perla, located about 20 kilometers from the city. It is estimated that approximately 2,500 people were held there clandestinely, most of them disappeared. Reyes, 45 years old, was illegally deprived of his liberty while he was heading to a party activism meeting of the Communist Party (PC) in his vehicle. After the kidnapping, he was at the Clandestine Center of Detention, Torture and Extermination "Department of Information (D2)". He was the father of five children, worked as a worker for the FIAT company and was born in the Buenos Aires town of Banfield. Rubio, for his part, was active in the same organization, was 27 years old at the time of his disappearance, was an engineering student at the National University of Córdoba, had a son and his wife was pregnant. The site was in charge of military Luciano Benjamín Menéndez; it was one of the largest detention centers in the country and began operating in 1976.
