This afternoon, in the city of Córdoba, a young woman was hit by a traffic light that detached from its support at the intersection of General Alvear and Olmos Avenue, in the center of the provincial capital. The incident occurred after a truck went off the road and struck the pole that held the traffic light.
The 27-year-old woman received the impact on her head, resulting in minor injuries. Despite suffering a concussion, she was quickly attended to and transferred to a nearby hospital. Fortunately, the doctors determined that her health condition was not serious.
"Everything happened very quickly. I heard a loud noise and suddenly felt a hit on my head. It was a very strange situation, and I am grateful that the injuries were not more serious," commented the affected young woman after the incident.
