The federal auxiliary prosecutor from Caleta Olivia, Fabricio Sachi, refused to take a breathalyzer test in Comodoro Rivadavia, and the video in which he challenges traffic officers went viral, generating thousands of negative comments.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Alvear and Necochea streets when agents of the Provincial Road Safety Agency (APSV) were carrying out a routine operation in the area to control vehicles.
During the procedure, one of them asked Sachi to stop so that he could perform the breathalyzer test, which the prosecutor refused and even challenged the officers, causing a scandal in the city, the ADNSur media outlet reported.
Witnesses to the incident and the viral video itself show the moment when Sachi approached the officer and responded rudely: "Don't use 'tĂș' with me, lower your tone. Who do you think you are?"
Not satisfied with the officer's response, he approached another and threatened to go to Justice: "Call whoever you want, I'm not taking the test, it's a disgrace. Send a fine to my home."
Unconvinced by what was said, he approached another and threatened to go to court: "I want to report him for abuse of authority, failure to official duties, and harassment."
Sachi's actions were recorded and immediately went viral, generating thousands of comments against him. Now, it remains to be seen if the relevant authorities will take any action against the prosecutor following the scandal that came to light in recent hours.
