Today in Comodoro Rivadavia, the roof of a housing complex collapsed. Although only material damage is reported, several residents were unable to return to their units as tons of rubble blocked the entrance to them. The collapse occurred in building 17 of sector 2 of the October 30 neighborhood and caused a major impact among its inhabitants, given that the entire structure of the complex, which is composed of social housing, shook. Shortly after, when emergency teams arrived, they confirmed that a large part of the roof of the top floor had collapsed, dragging debris, sheets, iron, and even pigeon droppings, blocking the entrance to four units. "The entire roof is what's left, but all the sheets came off," described a victim, as learned by the Noticias Argentinas agency through ADN Sur. Many of the complex's residents began to clear the area on their own, but later authorities dissuaded them due to the possibility of a new collapse in the building.
