A 22-year-old woman, identified as Adriana Chanampa López, was attacked with a knife by two criminals while carrying her baby in her arms during a robbery attempt in Ciudad Evita, a locality in the province of Buenos Aires.
According to police sources, the violent incident occurred on the streets Valko and Barros when the victim was approached by the thieves. During a struggle, Adriana suffered a stab wound to her back. Fortunately, the criminals did not manage to steal any items and fled the scene.
After the incident, the young woman was taken to Hospital Ballestrini in La Matanza, where she received medical attention. Despite the seriousness of the situation, she was able to be discharged shortly after. The case is being investigated by prosecutor Dupláa, who has classified it as "attempted robbery and injuries."
Authorities are conducting an intense search for the aggressors to bring them to justice and clarify what happened. In the meantime, Adriana is recovering well after the traumatic episode she experienced with her baby during the robbery attempt.
