The second edition will bring together leading figures of Latin American song with live music, visual art, and tastings at the Casa Museo de la Trova Argentina.
On Saturday, March 21, from 18:00 to 23:00, a new edition of Trovapaluza will be held in Caseros. This event, dedicated to authorial song, brings together artists from different backgrounds at the Casa Museo de la Trova Argentina, a space dedicated to social song and the Latin American trova tradition.
The musical program will feature Alejandro Sicardi (guest from Mendoza), Cecilia Gauna, Débora Infante, Diego Dana, and Paula Ferré (from Buenos Aires), along with El Payador Wilson (from 9 de Julio, Buenos Aires).
Many of the invited female singer-songwriters are part of the MUJERTROVA movement, which promotes the visibility of women in the trova tradition of authorial song.
In addition to the concerts, the festival proposes activities in the museum's gardens that complement the musical program. There will also be the sensory experience "Trovapaluza a Ciegas," poetic interventions by whisperers, and gastronomic proposals throughout the day.
Trovapaluza 2025
The event will include a wine tasting organized by Buenos Vinos Social Club, which will accompany the cultural activities planned on the premises.
The Casa Museo de la Trova Argentina, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, has consolidated itself as a meeting space for social song and for different expressions of the Latin American trova tradition.
The festival is organized by the trovadora Paula Ferré, a leading figure in social song at the international level and manager of various projects linked to music, including MUJERTROVA.
During Trovapaluza, the trovadora Carolina Wajnerman, who participated in the previous edition of the festival, will present her first music video: "En un papel," with audiovisual direction by Ezequiel Cadailhon.
The initiative has the support of the Cultural Industries Area of the Argentine Chamber of SMEs, and with the backing of artists and institutions linked to Latin American song, including Víctor Heredia, Liuba María Hevia, and Ignacio Copani.
