Buenos Aires, November 28 (NA) – Two men have been detained as the alleged material authors of the murder of a 26-year-old young man in the Buenos Aires district of Campana. Police sources informed the Argentine News Agency that José Ignacio Ventosa was admitted to a local hospital for a supposed overdose, and witnesses stated they saw him ingest drugs. He died on October 26 due to a severe skull trauma, multi-organ failure, and a cerebral hemorrhage. The intervening prosecutor had classified the case as “investigation of an illicit act,” and the victim's mother presented new testimonies. These affirmed that Ventosa had an argument with Juan Amaya Pablo (38) and Carlos Daniel Pereyra (27). During the confrontation, the suspects allegedly beat the victim, who lost consciousness. For this reason, the Court of Guarantees No. 1 of the Campana Judicial Department ordered four raids to carry out the relevant arrests. The first procedure was carried out at a home on Barlaro Street 491, where officers from the Tactical Task Group, along with other divisions, detained Amaya, while in a residence in Campo Facera, Pereyra was apprehended. Both were charged with the crime of homicide and are at the disposal of Justice.
