Atlanta secures only victory in ninth round of Argentine Primera Nacional

In the ninth round of the Argentine Primera Nacional, Atlanta was the only team to win on the day, beating San Martín de San Juan 2-1. In it, Atlanta secured the only victory of the day by beating San Martín de San Juan 2-1, while Nueva Chicago vs. Midland and Tristán Suárez vs. Atlético Rafaela shared the points. According to the Argentine News Agency, Nueva Chicago drew 2-2 with Ferrocarril Midland at the República de Mataderos Stadium. Additionally, the match was delayed twice by a Nueva Chicago fan who was pointing a laser at the visiting players. Meanwhile, Tristán Suárez and Atlético Rafaela also drew, this time without goals, in a match played at the 20 de Octubre Stadium. Finally, Federico Álvarez scored the winning goal in the 93rd minute with a right-footed strike into the right corner of the goal, past goalkeeper Sebastián Díaz. The match also had tense moments when San Martín fans climbed the fence of one of the stands, demanding a victory, which led to a brief interruption of the match by the referee's decision. Nicolás Ramos was sent off in 'La Crema' for a reckless foul on Maximiliano Álvarez in the 45th minute of the second half. 'Lechero' earned one point, reached 16 units, and lost the top spot, which is now temporarily held by Gimnasia de Jujuy with 18 points. Lastly, Atlanta won against San Martín de San Juan 2-1. Mauro Osores had opened the score for 'Verdinegro', while Rodrigo Moreira equalized in the 74th minute. In the 36th, Agustín Campana opened the score from the edge of the area, receiving the ball from Marcos Roseti, who had previously set up a wall with Maximiliano Rogoski.
