Through his personal account, Lunati launched criticisms without mentioning a direct recipient, although in the football world, it was interpreted as a message aimed at one of the implicated referees. "I love it, you're a crook, a thief, and a cop. You haven't changed," he wrote. The former judge also questioned the career of the person he was referring to and alluded to alleged favors received in the past. "You lost your code with the people who gave you a huge hand when nobody wanted you," he added.
