Buenos Aires, March 2 (NA) – Platense and Deportivo Riesta drew 0-0 in a dull match on Monday, corresponding to the eighth round of Zone A of the Apertura Tournament, held at Guillermo Laza Stadium. According to the Argentine News Agency, the match was even with 7 total shots for each side, four from 'Malevo' on target and 3 from 'Calamar' hitting the frame. However, ball possession favored the Vicente López side, which had 60%, but could not translate the significant control into scoring chances. With this result, the team coached by Walter Zunino is in fifth place in Zone A with 13 points, while the albinegro side continues to fail to win three points in the tournament and has reached 5 units. Now, Platense will visit Rosario to face Newell's on Tuesday, March 10 at 5:30 PM. Meanwhile, Deportivo Riesta will host Gimnasia de Mendoza on Thursday, March 12 at 5:00 PM.
