Buenos Aires, Feb 2 (NA) - Argentinos Juniors tried but failed to break the deadlock against Belgrano at home in a match corresponding to the third matchday of Zone B of the Apertura Tournament, held at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium. According to the Argentine News Agency, both teams grew in the second half, created dangerous chances, but failed to open the score and shared points in La Paternal. After a dull first half in which 'Bicho' was slightly superior, Alan Lescano had the clearest chance to open the score in the 42nd minute with a shot that hit the post. In the 7th minute of the second half, Erik Godoy stretched to connect a cross from the right, but the shot went just over the crossbar. In the second half, the team led by Nicolás Diez grew considerably and came close to taking the lead. Diego Porcel had scored 1-0, but the action was ruled out for offside by the forward himself.
