Boca Juniors midfielder Agustín Martegani has a chance to continue his career on loan at Aldosivi. According to the Argentine News Agency, the Mar del Plata club has already inquired about the player who joined the 'Xeneize' in July 2024. Although no formal offer has been made yet, it is expected that negotiations will advance in the coming days. Bought for around three million dollars a year and a half ago, Boca is trying to offload the midfielder who, after the collapse of his move to Central Córdoba, could reinforce the 'Shark'. With nine days to go until the start of the 2026 Apertura Tournament, Boca could let go of one of the many players who are out of consideration in its first division squad. This is the case of Agustín Martegani, who has not accumulated any minutes since coach Claudio Úbeda took over the club from the River and is looking favorably on leaving in search of continuity to revive his career. The transfer would be a loan, in which Boca would ask for a sum of money as a fee. Having had a good spell at San Lorenzo, the club where he came through the youth ranks, and after a stint at Salernitana in Italy, the midfielder arrived at Boca to be a good option as a substitute. Although he started in three of his first four appearances, from his fifth match he began to alternate matches coming off the bench with others in which he did not get any minutes, starting in only three matches in the remainder of 2024. His 2025 was even less active, playing only two games: on January 22 against Argentino de Monte Maíz in the Copa Argentina, in a 5-0 win, and on February 22, when he was a starter in a win against Aldosivi itself in the Apertura Tournament, in which he even scored. Thus, the former 'Cyclone' player has accumulated 11 months of inactivity.
