Less than a month before its start, the players confirmed to compete in the first Challenger tournament of our country for the upcoming season were announced, to be held at the Tennis Club Argentino. The event, scheduled for the third week of January, will kick off on Monday the 12th and features Italian Marco Cecchinato (currently ranked 227th and formerly world No. 16) as the marquee player. This will be the fifth edition of a Challenger at the Tennis Club Argentino, following the two previous editions in 2024 and after a gap in 2025. The club, located in Buenos Aires, boasts 20 clay‑stone courts and, together with the Argentina Open women’s event, will run simultaneous men’s and women’s category‑50 competitions. Argentine representatives include Santiago Rodríguez Taverna (225th) and Marina Bassols Ribera (242nd) as the highest‑ranked, as well as Martina Capurro Taborda (385th), Victoria Bosio (286th), María Urrutia (483rd) and Carla Markus (497th).
