Buenos Aires, Dec 11 (NA) -- The Argentine Football Association (AFA) released the fixture list for the 2026 Torneo Apertura after the tournament's two zones were drawn on Wednesday. According to the Argentine News Agency, following the event held yesterday at the Lionel Messi training ground, it was determined that Boca will kick off against Deportivo Riestra at La Bombonera, while River will visit Barracas. As the main event of the competition, which will run in the first half of next year, the Superclásico will take place in the 15th round at the Monumental. This will be a series of classics that will excite all football fans in the country. Additionally, San Lorenzo will face Huracán at Parque Patricios on matchday 4. Likewise, Newell's Old Boys and Rosario Central will play each other in the eighth round, and Estudiantes and Gimnasia in the fifth. Meanwhile, the Avellaneda Classic between Independiente and Racing will be held on matchday 13 at the Libertadores de América-Ricardo Enrique Bochini stadium.
