Buenos Aires, Nov 19 (NA) -- The AFA's Disciplinary Committee has suspended one player from Deportivo Madryn and six from Morón following the incidents between the teams in the second leg of the Primera Nacional's promotion playoff semi-finals. After the Aurinegro's 1-0 victory, which secured their place in the final for the second promotion spot to the Professional League, where they will face Estudiantes de Río Cuarto, the regulatory body sanctioned Germán Rivero in Madryn and Julio Salva, Franco Lorenzón, Joaquín Livera—who received a four-match suspension for the elbow during his expulsion—Emilio Lazza, Elías Contreras, and Gastón González at 'El Gallo'. The serious incidents occurred after the match concluded, when Gastón González, the visiting team's midfielder, headed towards the celebrating local players. The Aurinegro, winning 1-0, advanced to the next stage due to their superior regular season finish. Subsequently, Rivero got into a fight with three opponents. Nevertheless, the altercation escalated when Morón members engaged in a brawl with the police, who responded with pepper spray.
