The president of San Lorenzo, Marcelo Moretti, has been summoned to testify in court. The head of the “Cyclone” must appear before the court on Thursday, November 6th, at 11:00 AM. Moretti is in this tense situation due to a complaint of fraudulent administration and embezzlement. Many members of the club considered Moretti's return a provocation and a sign of disconnection from the institution's reality. Amidst a tense climate with internal and external criticism, the president will have to face the justice system and give explanations for his management, which has left more shadows than certainties for the immediate future of San Lorenzo. The complaint was filed by the opposition sector of the club's leadership, headed by César Francis and Christian Mera. Marcelo Moretti's tenure at the helm of San Lorenzo was characterized by a series of institutional and economic conflicts that deepened the club's crisis. During his mandate, repeated suspensions due to unpaid debts affected the team's sporting competitiveness and generated strong discontent among fans and members.
