Estudiantes de Buenos Aires Draw in the Primera Nacional

Estudiantes de Buenos Aires drew 1-1 with Central Norte in an exciting match that left three teams at the top of zone B with seven points each. Other notable results include the victories of Los Andes and Chaco For Ever, as well as the outstanding performance of Defensores de Belgrano.

The third round of the Primera Nacional of Argentine football ended with several interesting matches and notable results. In Zone B, Estudiantes de Buenos Aires drew 1-1 with Central Norte, placing them at the top of the table alongside Estudiantes de Río Cuarto and Güemes, each with seven points.

On the other hand, Los Andes secured their first three points upon returning to the second division by defeating Güemes 1-0. Chaco For Ever won 2-0 against Temperley in a match marked by the aggression of local fans towards Temperley’s goalkeeper, which forced the game to be stopped for 20 minutes.

Defensores de Belgrano achieved an important victory by beating San Telmo 3-0, while in Zone A, Gimnasia y Tiro de Salta and San Martín de Tucumán share the top spot with 7 points each. Colón won 1-0 against Mitre in a match with high thermal sensation, while Gimnasia de Mendoza defeated Morón.

In other matches, Nueva Chicago and Chacarita drew 1-1, while Racing de Córdoba defeated Alvarado 2-1. The round was completed with a series of matches on Saturday and Sunday, highlighted by Ferro’s 1-0 victory over Tristán Suárez and Agropecuario’s 2-1 win against Estudiantes de Río Cuarto.

The day concluded with a 1-1 draw between Nueva Chicago and Chacarita and Racing de Córdoba’s 2-1 victory over Alvarado.
