Pablo Zabaleta, former player of the Argentine national team and Manchester City, returned to the Monumental Stadium to witness the match between River Plate and Lanús, for the Argentine Professional Football League. Zabaleta visited the club where he was trained and of which he is a fan to enjoy the match and the football atmosphere in the stadium.
During his time at the stadium, Zabaleta was warmly received by River fans, who cheered him and showed him their affection. The former player was visibly moved by the recognition from the fans and expressed his gratitude through his social media.
Zabaleta took the opportunity to chat with some players from the current River Plate squad and with the coaching staff, sharing anecdotes and football experiences. Additionally, the former Argentine international enjoyed the match from a special box, where he could feel the excitement of Argentine football and the fervor of the fans in every play.
