Over 200 new traffic cameras have been installed in Buenos Aires to enhance road safety and tackle traffic violations. While aimed at reducing accidents, they've drawn criticism for being perceived as revenue-generating tools.

In recent years, the number of cameras for traffic enforcement in the city of Buenos Aires has increased with the aim of improving road safety and reducing the number of road traffic accidents. There are more than 200 installed cameras, designed to detect violations, such as speeding, running a red light, violations of pedestrian crossings, and the use of exclusive lanes for public transport.

The cameras are located at strategic points: in major avenues, in school zones, and at intersections. Some residents and motorists refer to them as "fines cameras," but their implementation is aimed at enhancing road safety. Here are some addresses of the installed cameras:
