
In the plenary session of October 30, 2024, the Council of the Judiciary approved twelve new lists of candidates to fill judicial vacancies, which will be submitted to the National Executive Power for consideration. These lists correspond to various positions in different jurisdictions of the country.
Two lists were presented for positions in the Oral Courts in the City of Buenos Aires. The first list includes Juan Manuel Kees, Verónica Laura Pérez, and Matías Oscar Zanona, while the second consists of Pablo Antonio Matkovic, Carolina García, and Jorge García Davini.
Additionally, approval was given to Competition No. 422, which covers eight positions of chamber judges in various Oral Courts in Criminal and Correctional matters in the City of Buenos Aires. The selected candidates for these positions are Carlos Ezequiel Oneto, Carlos Eduardo Saltor, and Solana Esther Casella.
Regarding Competition No. 469, which covers two positions of chamber judges in the Federal Criminal Court of Neuquén, the proposed candidates are Hugo Horacio Greca, Walter Ezequiel López da Silva, and Luisina Tiscornia.
During the session, it was also reported that the number of vacancies pending in the National Executive Power and Congress rose to 161, while the vacancies pending in the Council decreased to 138.
Among the approved lists are candidates for a judge position in the Federal Court of First Instance of Tucumán. The approved lists include names such as Fernando Buján, Mariano Adolfo Klumpp, and Ana Poleri, as well as Sebastián Noé Alfano, Santiago Juan Schiopetto, and María Laura Barsanti, among others.
Furthermore, within the framework of Competition No. 455, the list corresponding to a position of member in the Federal Appeals Chamber of General Roca, in the province of Río Negro, was approved.
