The Argentine federal justice system is investigating a complaint of alleged sexual abuse against the head of security of River Plate, filed by a club employee. The case has been registered in the National Criminal and Correctional Court No. 45. In parallel, representatives of the club's members sent a letter to President Stefano Di Carlo, urgently requesting clarification on whether the leadership was aware of the reported incident and if it involved institutional personnel. They also asked whether the mechanisms stipulated in the Gender Violence Protocol were activated, if the case involves a high-ranking official, and if there were formal notifications about judicial proceedings. The matter became public after reports by journalist Pablo Calvari on social media. The club has suggested that the complainant had previously been questioned by members and was summoned to a meeting where she may have been warned of a possible disciplinary sanction. According to this version, the physical contact mentioned in the complaint was limited to a gesture at the end of the meeting, and the justice system is now investigating the facts.
