Kicillof emphasized his connection with the academic community by stating that sharing space with researchers, scientists, teachers, and non-teaching staff represents a return to his formative roots: 'Being here is an environment where I feel I am part of it,' he reaffirmed during his speech. Finally, the Governor of the Province of Buenos Aires highlighted the need to defend the public university as a driver of social development and technological sovereignty.
