Buenos Aires, April 9 (NA) – The Council of the Magistrature will continue its agenda marked by commission meetings and investigations into judges. This Thursday, it will hold a joint meeting between the Selection and Regulation Commissions to begin analyzing the project sent by the Nation's Supreme Court, along with 14 other existing projects.
Additionally, at 10:30, the meeting of the Financial Administration Commission is scheduled, which will be headed for the first time by the councilor representing the Executive Branch, Santiago Viola.
On Wednesday, the Accusation Commission continued with hearings to receive testimonies in the investigation against the federal judge in civil and commercial matters, Patricio Maraniello.
On the other hand, that same day, the first meeting of the year of the Disciplinary Commission was held, where the file investigating the federal judge from Rosario, Gastón Salmain, was addressed.
According to what the Argentine News Agency was able to learn, councilor Alejandra Provitola proposed to send that file to the Accusation Commission, where complaints against the Rosario magistrate are concentrated.
In that meeting, the dismissive opinion of councilor Diego Barroetaveña on the complaint presented against judge María Eugenia Capuchetti by national deputies of Unión por la Patria was also analyzed.
