Actor Osqui Guzmán recalled the episode of police brutality he suffered in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Chacarita, where a female police officer "asked him for his ID because of his skin color." This led her to call him a "thief," ask if he was "Bolivian," and physically assault him. According to the Argentine News Agency, the actor was on his way to a rehearsal for the play "Druk," which he co-starred in with Pablo Echarri, Carlos Portaluppi, and Juan Gil Navarro. On top of that, in December 2009, Guzmán was named a "Distinguished Personality of Culture of the City of Buenos Aires." The human rights organization "Center for Legal and Social Studies" (CELS) shared a video in which the artist can be seen walking the same route he took during the incident, as Guzmán recounted: "Taking the subway or a bus should be part of our daily activity, something that is normalized. And what does that algorithm recognize? It unifies us under a single criterion. But that normalization is not for everyone." The actor continued: "In any case, not everyone is subject to that normality."
