President Javier Milei will head a meeting next Monday at the Casa Rosada with his main officials to show unity and regain political initiative, following the impact of the controversies surrounding the Chief of Staff, Manuel Adorni, who will be part of the meeting, confirmed the Argentine News Agency.
The summit will be at 12 noon, after the Executive received blows due to the escalation of irregularities involving the former presidential spokesman, as well as other scandals, such as the recent news in the case of the alleged scam of the Libra cryptocurrency promoted by the president.
The last Cabinet meeting had been on February 24 and will now serve to give another boost to Adorni, amid the internal debate within the ruling party on whether to keep the Chief of Staff in his position.
Adorni faces complaints for the acquisition of an apartment in Caballito and a house in a country club in Exaltación de la Cruz, in addition to his flights to Punta del Este on private planes and the presence of his wife on the official plane to travel to New York.
The coordinating minister met with Milei on Wednesday in Olivos, who renewed his support, although the truth is that the operation to turn the page and overcome the controversies surrounding Adorni has not yielded results.
This Thursday, the former spokesman flanked the President at the event in Retiro for the fallen in Malvinas.
