Buenos Aires, March 22 (NA) – Deputy Victoria Tolosa Paz called for the construction of a broad national political alternative to stop the course of President Javier Milei's government, warning of a process of "absolute destruction" of the country's productive capacities. During a radio interview, the lawmaker from Union for the Homeland (UxP) stated that the first step to consolidate this space is "to have a clear idea of where Argentina wants to go in terms of production, economy, and socially." She added: "Let's discuss ideas: how do we get out of debt, what is our industrial productive project, what do we do with the tax system?" Regarding the political scenario, she believes the current crisis forces the expansion of the agreement base, even with leaders from other spaces. "Today we want to converge based on ideas with men and women who perhaps four years ago it was unthinkable," she stated. Finally, the deputy focused on the need for a profound reform of the judicial system, which she described as one of the most deteriorated institutions in the country. "We must dare to discuss what kind of justice Argentina wants for the next 30 years," she proposed, and questioned the functioning of the federal courts. "We are becoming aware of the institutional degradation the country is going through," she emphasized. In this context, she avoided pronouncing on the possibility of a pardon for Cristina Fernández de Kirchner and proposed going beyond the current debate. "I agree that we must do something much more interesting, which is to discuss what kind of justice we want," she concluded. "We don't want to beat Milei just for the sake of beating him, we really want to change the country's course," she emphasized.
