Kicillof launches political movement in Buenos Aires

The governor of Buenos Aires Province, Axel Kicillof, today launched the Buenos Aires chapter of his political movement 'Derecho al Futuro' (MDF), the platform with which he is vying in the internal Peronist primaries and seeks to nationalize his proposal for the 2027 elections. At an event held at the Picadero Theater in downtown Buenos Aires, the governor placed his Minister of Production, Science, and Productive Innovation, Augusto Costa, by his side, making it clear that he is his lieutenant in the City of Buenos Aires and the figure who will have to be dealt with in that district on behalf of the MDF. Kicillof also shared the stage with Buenos Aires legislator Berenice Iañez, who belongs to the 'La Patria es el Otro' group of the Minister of Community Development of Buenos Aires Province, Andrés 'Cuervo' Larroque, another prominent axelist with a presence in the city. 'This is not an election year, but a year for building a strong, reliable movement that excites the majority and allows us to put an end to the Milei government and 20 years of macrism in the city,' stated the governor, whom many already see as a presidential candidate. In his view, 'the national government is in a manic phase, talking about an economic miracle that contrasts with the daily lives of Argentines.' 'That is why we aim to delve into the real problems.'
