A man in Buenos Aires has been sentenced to prison for attacking police and damaging a patrol car. The incident occurred at the San José subway station in the Constitución neighborhood. A 31-year-old man was blocking access for passengers. After police asked him to leave, he began to insult the officers and threw stones at them and the patrol car, breaking one of its taillights. The man was charged with attempted resistance to authority and aggravated damage to public property. During a shortened trial, the accused pleaded guilty. He was ultimately sentenced to one year and three months in prison, which was unified with a previous sentence from a national case.
