Milei: No Truce Before Terrorism

Buenos Aires, March 17 (NA) – President Javier Milei led the ceremony this Tuesday for the 34th anniversary of the 1992 attack on the Israeli Embassy and stated that “there can be no truce in the face of terrorism.” Accompanied by the Head of Government of the City of Buenos Aires, Jorge Macri; the Chief of Cabinet, Manuel Adorni; and the Secretary of the Presidency, Karina Milei, the head of state pointed out that “we must remember” the “cowardly attack by Iranian terrorism” that left a balance of 29 dead and more than 200 injured: “It is a wound in the Argentine people, in the Jewish community, and in the moral sentiments of our society,” he added. Furthermore, he stated that our country “faces terrorism” and classified the State of Israel as “a sister nation that shares the same values as ours.”

“Argentina combats terrorism and defends freedom. Israel is a strategic ally of our country, and for that reason, we reaffirm our commitment because we believe it is the right thing to do. We carry morality as state policy,” affirmed Milei.
