Bullrich Accuses Kirchner of Robbing While in Office

Senator Patricia Bullrich (La Libertad Avanza) today accused former President Cristina Kirchner of 'robbing' the country while in power, and criticized her complaints about testifying at the federal courts of Comodoro Py. 'Prisoner lady: if you don't want to testify and be already convicted of corruption in all judicial instances, you shouldn't have stolen. Simple,' Bullrich wrote. Earlier, Bullrich published a post on her social media X stating: 'For years you dedicated yourself to looting the state's coffers.' She listed the irregularities she claims Kirchner committed while president: 'returns for works that were never done, fake hires in your hotels, and a scheme to enrich Lázaro Báez until he became one of the largest landowners in Patagonia.' Kirchner, in turn, stated that Judge Bonadio and prosecutor Stornelli engaged in mafia and criminal practices. 'The only one responsible for your actions is you,' the senator for the Federal Capital and head of the LLA bloc in the Senate underscored. She was referring to Cristina Kirchner's presence at the Federal Oral Court 7 to testify in the so-called 'Notebooks case,' which investigates corruption during her tenure. Cristina Kirchner is serving a six-year sentence under house arrest since June 2025 at her apartment on San José 1111 in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Constitución, in the so-called 'Roadworks case'.
