Buenos Aires, March 15 (NA) — A series of WhatsApp chats involving panelist Yanina Latorre and businessman Mauricio Novelli, one of the investigated individuals in the $LIBRA cryptocurrency case, have been circulated in recent hours. Noticias Argentinas agency accessed the chats between Latorre and Novelli, which journalist Fernanda Iglesias disseminated through her social media. In the chats, Yanina Latorre assures that Javier Milei called and spoke with her, and the panelist, now also a host, tells her interlocutor, the investigated Novelli. The exchange came to light amid the controversy over the promotion of this digital asset and the debate about the role played by President Javier Milei in the project's dissemination. The screenshots, which began to circulate on social media and television programs, show conversations in which Novelli proposes to Latorre to make promotional posts on social media in exchange for payment. According to the messages shared, the businessman suggests moving forward with 'stories' on Instagram to promote content. 'Do you think we should move forward with the stories? That way we can settle the three this month,' Novelli writes, to which the panelist agrees and asks if they are three separate posts. 'They are three different days, they are super short stories,' the businessman explains in the chat. In another part of the conversation, Novelli suggests that Latorre could make quick money by registering on a cryptocurrency platform. 'Do you want to earn $5,000 in 5 minutes? All you have to do is create an account on Binance and verify the account using this link.' In response to that message, Latorre asks if the reason is related to President Javier Milei: 'Milei spoke to me the other day.' In another segment of the conversation, Latorre mentions that she is in the United States and will return to Argentina only months later. Novelli responds that he could do it after returning from a trip and asks her to send him the script for the posts. Latorre replies that she would send it to him shortly and indicates which account she should tag in the stories. At another point in the exchange, the panelist comments that she is in the United States and will return to Argentina only months later. 'I don't return to Argentina until February,' she writes. In one of the chats, Novelli also forwards a registration link for Binance: 'Link for Binance. Rest well!' Later, he sends her the link again, adding: 'Send me the script when you can.'
