Former Argentine President Mauricio Macri will meet this week with all members of the PRO party to reorganize its objectives for the rest of the year and to focus on the 2027 presidential elections. The meeting, organized by National Congressman and party Secretary General Fernando de Andreis, will take place at Parque Norte and will be a key political event where Macri will set the course for the party he founded and chairs. The attendance of María Eugenia Vidal, Hernán Lombardi, and all members of PRO (councilors, legislators, mayors) who wish to participate is expected. This "key" meeting in Parque Norte aims to demonstrate its own identity, plan future strategies, and, consequently, strengthen the space founded by the former national leader. Weeks ago, Macri began a series of meetings with a focus on the 2027 presidential elections to discuss the role PRO will play and how it will continue its relationship with La Libertad Avanza (LLA). For this reason, the summit intends to discuss PRO's representation in Congress and, in a broader federal sense, how ties with governors are formed, which will be one of the most relevant issues for Macrism. At the end of last month, the holding of the PRO National Council was rescheduled due to Macri's agenda, and for this reason, it was decided to hold this meeting at Parque Norte. Buenos Aires legislator Silvia Lospennato confirmed her presence in a dialogue with the Argentine News Agency.
