Deputy Ferraro Accuses Minister Pettovello of Ties to Crypto-Scam

Buenos Aires, March 15 (NA) – National Deputy Maximiliano Ferraro, president of the Civic Coalition (CC) and former head of the Investigative Commission of the $LIBRA Case, questioned the Minister of Human Capital, Sandra Pettovello, over the alleged link she has with Mauricio Novelli, one of the businessmen linked to the crypto-scam and close to President Javier Milei, his sister and Presidential Secretary, Karina Milei.

From his social networks, the legislator asked the libertarian official if she could "confirm or deny" a conversation in which Novelli requested a meeting to tell her what "contributions" his company could make "in the field of education".

"Minister Sandra Pettovello, can you confirm or deny this conversation with Mauricio Novelli? And if your secretary, Consuelo, indeed granted the audience and if it appears in the public registry? Likewise, can you inform if there was any hiring, since in the exchange he talks about his company in the field of education and that large funds from abroad, mainly from the United States and Asia, would be willing to 'invest large sums of money in Argentina'?", Ferraro stated.

Likewise, in another post on his personal X account, he informed that the lawmakers of the $LIBRA Investigative Commission have called a press conference for this Monday at 4 p.m. in the Chamber of Deputies of the Nation, due to "the recent events that have become public linked to the case" and that "are related to the final report presented last November".

"During the conference, details will be provided on the new information known to the public, its link with the conclusions presented by the Commission and the institutional steps we deem necessary in the legislative and judicial spheres"; Ferraro concluded.
