Buenos Aires, March 11 (NA) – Former President Cristina Kirchner will have to give a statement in person in the 'Cuadernos' (Notebooks) case, following 13 hearings. This will take place on March 17 at 9:00 AM in the Tribunal's Auditorium. Yesterday, TOF 7 rejected the request for nullity filed by the defense of the former head of state and other defendants, such as Planning Minister Julio De Vido. They cited irregularities in the investigation and questioned the veracity of the testimonies of the 'collaborators.' According to Cristina Kirchner's lawyer, Carlos Beraldi, the notebooks were manipulated and therefore should not be part of the evidence in the case. He also stated that the statements of the 31 defendants classified as collaborators were made under extortion. TOF 7, composed of Fernando Canero, Enrique Méndez Signori, and Germán Castelli, must decide on the preliminary motions presented so far and will be responsible for investigating the alleged network of bribes and cartelization of public works between 2003 and 2015. Prosecutor Fabiana León intervened to respond to the motions of the 68 accused who sought to challenge the process.
