A solidarity festival in support of the FATE plant workers will be held in Buenos Aires. The festival «If FATE wins, we all win» will take place this Friday starting at 6:00 PM in front of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the UBA, in CABA. The event is organized by the anticapitalist youth of ¡Ya Basta!, the Nuevo MAS, the SUTNA's Brown List, the Sindicato de Base de Trabajadores de Reparto por Aplicación (Sitrarepa), and the collective «Artistas por FATE». The festival will feature live performances by bands such as «La perra que los parió» and «Los púber», as well as other groups like «La chusma», «La condena de Caín», «Quintejuna», and «Matapacos». During the event, donations of school supplies and non-perishable food for the families of FATE workers will be collected. Manuela Castañeira, a national leader of the Nuevo MAS, stated: «The struggle of FATE is a national cause against the slave labor reform and in defense of jobs. We are organizing this solidarity festival to give strength to the workers in this fight and to continue bringing solidarity to their struggle from all corners of society». She also invited «the youth, workers, and neighbors of CABA to join this solidarity festival in support of the FATE struggle». In turn, the general secretary of Sitrarepa, Belén D’Ambrosio, pointed out: «Solidarity with the FATE workers is growing throughout the country; they are an example of struggle and resistance».
