Macri to Open 29th Session Period in Buenos Aires

The Head of Government of the City, Jorge Macri, will deliver a speech before the Parliamentary Body on Monday, March 2, to inaugurate the 29th ordinary session period. The event at the Legislature will begin at 9:30, where the official will be accompanied by the Vice Head of Government, Clara Muzzio, who presides over the legislative body, and Matías López, first vice president of the Legislature. It is expected that Macri will outline the main points of his management for this year, with a focus on security policies, economic initiatives, education, health, and road works such as the tender for Line F of the subway. Although the Constitution of the City of Buenos Aires states that ordinary sessions traditionally begin on March 1, it was decided this year that the formal event would be moved to the first business Monday, as in the province of Buenos Aires.
