Buenos Aires, March 1 (NA) – President Javier Milei delivered a subtle criticism to Vice President Victoria Villarruel on Sunday, with whom he has maintained a distance for over a year, by warning that after the electoral defeat in the province of Buenos Aires last September 7th, there were 'opponents and allies who dreamed' of replacing him in power. The national broadcast avoided showing the country the greeting between the head of the Executive Branch and the President of the Senate. Furthermore, the camera placement in the chamber caused the shot of Milei that aired to cut off Villarruel's head. 'Opponents and allies dreamed of the Rivadavia chair,' Milei hinted as he was halfway through his speech before the Legislative Assembly, in a clear reference to Villarruel, to whom he had even dedicated a cold greeting a moment earlier. Indeed, the cold relationship between the two was once again evident this Sunday during the opening of the ordinary sessions of Congress. For most of the speech, only a part of the vice president's torso was visible, without her face.
