Buenos Aires, March 1 (NA) — A new preliminary hearing for the jury trial against nurse Dahiana Gisela Madrid, one of the accused in the death of Diego Maradona, will be held this Monday at the San Isidro Courthouses. Case sources informed the Argentine News Agency that the session will begin at 10 at Ituzaingó 340, where audio recordings of the famous football player will be analyzed; psychiatrist Agustina Cosachov, neurologist Leopoldo Luque, and Maximiliano Trimarchi, brother of the accountant for Matías Morla's firm. Images from the room in the house located in the San Andrés country club, where Maradona was found deceased on November 25, 2020, will also be evaluated. Madrid is the only accused who will go to a jury trial in the Oral Criminal Court No. 7 (TOC) of that judicial department. She was one of the nurses along with Ricardo Omar Almirón who attended to the former Argentina national team coach in Tigre. On March 17, 2026, the second oral and public trial for the alleged simple homicide with eventual intent of "Pelusa" will begin, and the alleged culpabilities of Luque, Cosachov, Almirón; psychologist Carlos Díaz; nurse coordinator, Mariano Perroni; the head of Swiss Medical in charge of the home hospitalization in Benavídez, Nancy Edith Forlini; and the clinical physician Pedro Di Spagna will be determined. The first process was annulled after the filming of the documentary "Divine Justice", starring former magistrate Julieta Makintach.
