Four men detained in Buenos Aires for driving a wanted vehicle

Buenos Aires, February 26 (NA) – Four men were detained for driving a car with a wanted alert in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Villa Soldati. Police sources informed the Noticias Argentinas agency that the Anillo Digital system detected that a Peugeot 208 had a restraint due to a stolen license plate and a seizure request in the context of a motor vehicle theft case. The City Police monitored through security cameras, issued an alert, and attempted to identify the vehicle on Avenida Roca and Soldado de la Frontera, where its occupants ignored the order and fled, prompting a brief pursuit that ended on Lacarra at 3400. Police seized valuables. The four individuals, three Argentines and one Paraguayan, exited the car and fled in different directions after colliding with a parked vehicle. However, authorities managed to make the arrests and seized 486,250 pesos, 1,500 dollars, cell phones, watches, bank cards, a video game console, keys, gloves, and jewelry items. The National Criminal and Correctional Court No. 3 ordered the detentions for the crimes of concealment, assault, and disobedience to authority, as well as the seizure of the Peugeot 208.
