Three men, aged 21 to 43, were detained for allegedly robbing the home of Judge Fernando Pinos Guevara, who is handling a triple murder case with narco links in the Florencio Varela district. Police sources identified the detainees as Jeremías Nicolás Herrera, Cristian Valentín Barreto, and Sebastián Cristian Barreto. The arrests were made during a raid following the judge's report of a home invasion, in which intruders forced a window grille and entered his house in the Ramos Mejía district. The investigation, which included neighbor testimonies and security camera footage, led to the location of one of the thieves through a stolen PlayStation console. During the search, the vehicle used to escape, 13 cell phones, $800, 45,000 pesos, a pistol, cartridges, clothing, and jewelry were seized. The same judge had previously reported receiving threats in December, stating he was afraid and that they had taken his son's game console and other low-value items.
